Storage Rules & Safety
Please be aware of the following safety and compliance guidelines regarding items not permitted inside any 7 Mile Storage unit. These rules protect your belongings, other customers, and our facility—and form part of our standard Terms & Conditions.
Items Not Permitted in Storage Units
Hazardous Materials
• Firearms, ammunition, explosives, or weapons • Flammable or combustible materials: gasoline, propane tanks, oil, kerosene, paint, paint thinner, acetone, turpentine • Chemicals and corrosives: chlorine bleach, acids, fertilizers • Compressed gases or gas bottles • Radioactive materials, asbestos, toxic waste, fireworks
Living or Dead Organisms
• No animals, plants, birds, fish, or any other living (or once‑living) creatures
Perishable Goods
• Food or anything with an expiration that may spoil
Other Prohibited Items
• Wet or damp items • Items that produce strong or noxious odors • Stolen property or illegal goods • Money, irreplaceable valuables, or priceless collectibles • Tires • Unregistered or uninsured vehicles
Allowed Items Most typical household and business items are permitted. We recommend using waterproof containers and shelving to elevate and protect items—especially in the event of any water ingress.
Management reserves the right to determine the suitability of any item. Unauthorized storage of prohibited items may result in additional charges, immediate removal of the item, or termination of your rental agreement.
Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and secure facility.
Kind regards, The 7 Mile Storage Team
